Servizi Tecnologici Energetici Rinnovabili S.r.l. hereinafter referred to as the “Data Controller”, informs you, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of European Regulation No. 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”, that your personal data will be processed according to the methods and for the purposes described below.

The Data Controller invites you to carefully read this Privacy Notice, hereinafter referred to as the “Notice”.

1. Data Controller and Data Protection Officer

2. Personal Data Processed, Purposes and Legal Basis

While browsing the Data Controller’s website, the following personal data may be processed, hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”:

  • Data voluntarily provided by the User: personal data provided by users through communications sent to the e-mail addresses and/or information request forms available on the website, including requests for information material, brochures, catalogues, etc., will be used solely for the purpose of responding to the communications and/or requests received.
  • Browsing data: this includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the website, the addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server, such as successful, error, etc., and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.

    This is personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. Such data is necessary for the use of web services and may also be processed in order to obtain statistical information on the use of the services, for example number of visitors by time slot, most visited pages, etc., and to check the proper functioning of the services offered.

  • Cookies: cookies are text files that websites visited by users send to their devices and that are retransmitted to the same websites during subsequent visits. Cookies can be divided into two main categories: profiling cookies and technical cookies.
  • Profiling cookies: this website does not use profiling cookies, namely cookies aimed at creating user profiles in order to send messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the website.
  • Technical cookies: the website uses technical cookies to allow safe, fast and efficient browsing of the website itself and to provide users with the requested services. The prior consent of users is not required for the installation of these cookies.

3. Optional Nature of Providing Data

Without prejudice to what has been specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide or not provide personal data in order to request information and/or services. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to receive what has been requested.

4. Data Retention Period

The personal data concerning you, collected through our website, will be retained for the time necessary to respond to your requests.

5. Recipients of Processing and Transfer of Personal Data

Your Personal Data may be shared with employees and/or collaborators and/or third parties of the Data Controller appointed as persons authorised to process personal data or as data processors.

Outside the cases indicated above, your personal data will not be disclosed, except to persons, entities or authorities to whom disclosure is mandatory under legal or regulatory provisions.

Your personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area where the conditions set out in Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR are met.

6. Rights of the Data Subject and Withdrawal of Consent

You have the right to request from the Data Controller access to your personal data, rectification or erasure of such data, restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability.

The aforementioned rights, as specified in Articles 15-21 of EU Regulation 679/16, may be exercised by sending an e-mail to privacy@steaenergia.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority: www.garanteprivacy.it.

7. Amendments

The Data Controller reserves the right to update this Notice at any time and to inform data subjects through the most appropriate means.
